Wylies Art Competition The 2008 Wylie's Baths Secondary Schools Art Competition is now showing 14 Feb - 18 March '09 at the Bowen Library Anzac pde Maroubra Junction.
Southern Courier 16 December 2008 p 16 "Small things are best." This is the opening line of Charles Sunstrom's beautiful, surprising and shocking seven page story poem which together with his manipulated photograph of Wylie's Baths (teacher Rosemary Wehbe-) took out the Illustrated Poem category of the 2008 Wylies Baths Secondary Schools Art Competition. The other category a 'collabrative work for up to four students" was won by two students from Randwick Girl's High School -(teacher Ms Wilson). This years 109 entries was the largst response since the inception of the award in 2001. Entries came from OLSH Kensington,- Teacher Katherine Tebbutt. Randwick Girl's High, Marcellin College Randwick and first time entrants The Centennial Park Special School and a large and varied entry from The French School Maroubra -teacher Ms Suzanne Berkon.
